Your privacy matters — especially with something as personal as your health. This policy explains what BettyMae Health ("BettyMae," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using BettyMae Health, you agree to this policy.
Who we are
BettyMae Health is a perimenopause and menopause symptom-tracking and education app. You can reach us at
hello@bettymaehealth.com.
What we collect
(1) Account information: your email address and password (passwords are stored securely by our authentication provider and never visible to us).
(2) Profile details you choose to provide: your preferred name, age range, where you are in your journey, period status, and whether you use hormone therapy.
(3) Health information you log: daily check-ins (symptoms, severity, sleep, energy, mood, notes), hormone-therapy entries, lab results you enter, menstrual-cycle entries, and any feedback you send.
(4) Limited technical information needed to run and secure the app.
How we use your information
We use it only to provide the app to you — to save your entries, generate your insights and doctor-ready reports, remember your preferences and reminders, respond to your feedback, and keep the service secure and working. We use de-identified, aggregate information to improve BettyMae.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell your personal or health information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your health data for advertising.
When we may share information
Only with trusted service providers who help us operate the app (such as secure hosting and email delivery), under agreements that require them to protect it; when required by law; or to protect someone's safety.
Your sensitive health data
We understand that reproductive and menopausal health information is deeply personal and that many women have real concerns about how such data could be used. We collect the minimum needed to provide the app, keep it private, and give you control to export or delete it at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your information in the app, export your data, and delete your account and associated data at any time by using the app or emailing
hello@bettymaehealth.com.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Crisis resources
BettyMae is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
Children
BettyMae is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll post the new date here and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
Not medical advice
BettyMae is for education and self-tracking and does not diagnose, treat, or replace care from a qualified doctor.
